This legendary Amorphous Androgynous record, planned for release in 1994 only to disappear, with possible tracks turning up all over the place (A Study Of Six Guitars, ‘Environment’ tracks on ISDN broadcasts, the Teachings From The Electronic Brain short film, the Dead Cities credits and 2007’s archive series), was remastered in 2007 and reconstructed by Brian released as an archive on FSOLDigital. Renamed as a FSOL album (probably to avoid confusion with the Amorphous Androgynous psychedelic band of this era), the album is a halfway point between Lifeforms’ ambience and textures and ISDN’s darker claustrophobia. With Lemongrass one of the most persistent artists in the soundworlds between Downbeat, Trip-Hop, Nu-Jazz and Drum & Bass grow up a whole decade long. Nearly any Compilation with the finest lounge sound features one of his tracks. The double album “Beach Affairs” offers a detailed overview on the work of Lemongrass on 2CDs: The Highlights of the late albums on Mole Listening Pearls and the very own label of Roland Voss: Lemongrassmusic.
In spring 1999 Lemongrass has his debut on Mole Listening Pearls: The album “Lumière Obscure” is praised by the press as a “charming compliment to the need of harmony nestling to the couch in the evening and calling after sugar for the ears. …” In 2000 Roland Voss presents the consequent development of his style with “Voyage au centre de la terre”. With “Windows” the next feel-good-album follows already in February 2001. Roland Voss stays loyal to himself with his next longplayer “Skydiver”, too and presents mellow vibes, underlayed with big slow-motion-beats. On “Skydiver” he creates weightless rooms of sound, that can only be designed by Lemongrass.
His 6th CD he names “Fleur Solaire“ – sunflower in english – that is released in october 2004 – a title that undertakes. Who put “Fleur Solaire” in the player will see a field of sunflowers whose blossoms are searching the sun like the mirrors of solar cells, constantly following its course to absorb all the energy.
In 2005 the 7th Lemongrass album “Ikebana” follows, that is, at the same time, the first CD on the own label Lemongrassmusic. 2007 the wonderful work “Filmothèque” follows up and with the album “Pour L’Amour” he makes the feat to hold the quality on the level of his previous albums, but to create something new, too. Allowed to love and an enchanting consumption to the ears. 2 CD / DOWNLOAD from August, 25th

Moon presented their labour of love called “Gorsky Park” in the beginning of 2008 – elements of pop music mixed with electronics, triphop and house in a quite personal and gentle manner. They define their own genre and invite the listener to a journey through pleasure, deep moods, delightfulness, sadness and happy feelings. Martin Lowis -who also used to play the guitar- and Oliver Beier connected their electronic compositions with the lovely voice of Verena Johann and began messing up styles, added funky effects and real instruments and finally arrived at their orb. Alex Jacobi as producer lead their compositions to a degree of perfection which still sounds natural…artificial?…you have to listen to experience the layers of emotions and sounds. If you want to know more about Moon, just listen to the interview with Verena Johann:

There could be no summer on ibiza without new and exclusive Tracks from on of its best labels of the Genre. The Artists from Mole Listenng Pearls translated again their visions of relaxing, Holidays, Beaches beyond the sea into perfect music. Mole Listening Pearls has always been crossing the borders without losing its distinctive identity. Mole is unbound to defined styles and outer limits being pigeonholed at all. The established Mole artists like Naomi, Yonderboi, Nor Elle, Alphawezen, beyond new faces on the label like Ohm Square, Robert Manos create an acoustic mosaic which is constantly reassembled but always remains recognisable. A paradox: although there is no typical Mole sound, you can immediately feel and sense the sound of Mole. The resolution to this paradox is anchored in the label´s core ideas and the mission of the Mole artists. The mission of the artists can be found in their music with the music being their message. The core ideas of Mole include the determined willingness to foster its artists and to provide them with time and space to develop their message. CD & DOWNLOAD
Mike Litt is one of the longest-working DJs spinning house in Germany. Born in Washington DC he became well known as a DJ and radio presenter at WDR Radio 1 LIVE. He travels around the globe honoring events as “Mayday”, the “Miami Winter Music Conference” or the “Privilege” (Ibiza) and regularly plays at “Tribehouse” (Neuss). He released several mix-compilations at “Ministry of Sound” and “Kontor”. On his course he released several tracks and remixes on various imprints. Finally we come to the point that Mike presents his latest DJ-mix at Circle Music called “Out in The Street” – based on the track from Bruce Springsteen. 2 years of house and techno have left some formative experiences thus Mike points out the fact that a handmade mix without software or further corrections is something lively and honest. There are little bumps and inaccuracies which emphasize the goal of this compilation: Catching the perfect moment while sliding deeply into house, minimal, dub and reduced electro sounds. The compilation shows Mike’s sense for a heterogenic and variable mixture of great dance tracks and producers: Gregor Tresher, Tucillo, Terry Lee Brown Junior, The Timewriter, Alex Flatner feat. Lopazz and many more… CD
It may be quite precipitate to already set up the first forecasts for 2008, but one thing is certain: the Swedish producer duo Minilogue’s debut album “Animals” on Cocoon Rec. is going to be one of the most influential releases of electronic dance music. The synergy between the intimacy of sound and the variety of movement in cinemascope is extravagating the existing boundaries of Techno and Experimental, a sensual hearing in a repealed sense of time, as the German newspaper DIE ZEIT described it. So, many things speak for the fact that, for the development of reduced Techno, “Animals” is going to be as important as Robert Hood’s “Internal Empire” almost 15 years ago.
Insofar, it’s only more than consequent that, with Dubfire and The Mole, two of the momentarily most popular visionaries of electronic dance music could have been resurrected for the remixes of the Jamaica EP. The Mole aka Colin de la Plante, the 33-year-old Wagon Repair protagonist from Montreal is taking away this selectivity of sounds that “Hispaniola” contains with a Dub framework of extraordinary warmth. This track could not be re-shaped in a more hypnotic way. Ali Shirazinia aka Dubfire, born and raised in Washington and one half of House duo Deep Dish, has already been awarded with a Grammy, but since his club hits “I feel speed”, “Roadkill” and “Ribcage”, he also belongs to the leading solo producers and remixers these days. His 13-minutes-long interpretation of “Jamaica” adds this typical Dubfire mood of nightly paranoia to the original. However, after a Fabian beginning, the pumping bass drum sends clear signals to the dancefloor, and the repeated valve discharge sounds make the club also very present in your domestic living room. Winterhood is Mellow Pop at its finest. Carolin Winter’s unique and poignant voice meets the listener with an immediacy that immerses one in soft worlds of mystery, joy and sadness. Like the delicate parachutes of a dandelion, the notes and melodies on “Nine Wishes” float through the air; at times lightweight and dreamy as if among clouds, at others driven by rhythmic gusts of energy. Every single track of this album emanates a sense of wellbeing, massaging your soul into peace and contentment — the makings of a deep sigh. Producer Steffen Rausch’s keenness for subtlety and layering ensures you discover new details every time you listen to this album. Let it take you on a journey through pop, chill-out, downtempo, experimental electronics, jazz, chanson, and many other musical genres. Open your ears to Winterhood’s “Nine Wishes”, and the seed of the dandelion will bloom brilliantly before your inner eye. That’s a promise. CD & DOWNLOAD

A gun is any of several types of object that propels another object or projectile. A song is a musical composition. Alphawezen is connecting both into Trip Hop, House and Pop. The “Gun Song” propels morbide thoughts and offer also musical relaxation. Also in-usual melodies, soft singing traces and a sweet-melancholy prevailing mood, “Gun Song” is a genuine jewel. “Hush, hush, let’s get lost” Singer Asu whispers to us on the track. And indeed, the strings that come in again at the end of the song are no longer marching toward their just cause, but exude a sighing soulful well-being like that of the Beast bewitched by its beloved Beauty. After the original single release in spring 2008, Mole Listening Pearls brings out a huge remix package with new interpretations of “Gun Song”. Nichtmares On Wax and Dadamnphreaknoizphunk (aka Hardfloor) gave the song new shades of colours by applying teir own handwritings. The result are brand new mixes with a lot of spirit. Furthermore Alphawezen add a new Dub Mix as well to round off the full package. Available format: mp3
